Portable chairs
Bleachers exist but fill up fast. Bring your own.
Sunscreen
Apply before you leave the hotel. Reapply at lunch.
Cash
Concessions are frequently cash-only at tournament complexes.
Portable battery charger
GPS, group chats, and live scores will drain a phone by Saturday afternoon.
Snacks
Tournament food runs out. Pack backup snacks regardless of what the concession stand looks like on paper.
Hand sanitizer
Tournament bathrooms. You know.
Extra uniform
Two-day tournament. Saturday uniforms will not be game-ready by Sunday morning without a backup.
Ibuprofen / first aid basics
Long weekend, dirt, heat, sore everything. You will need at least one of these.
Rain poncho (not an umbrella)
Ponchos leave your hands free for a chair, a kid, and a phone. Umbrellas at baseball tournaments are a social contract violation.
